Tasty beef meatballs full of Italian spices. Prefect for a meatball subs! Just add a Herb & Parmesan Sub Rolls, grated mozzarella & a tomato sauce of course.
And with a little Cesar Salad on the side how can you go wrong?
INGREDIENTS
Meatballs:
1/2 pound ground beef
1/2 cup bread crumbs
2-3 garlic, pressed
1 egg
1 tbsp oregano
1 tbsp basil
Salt & Pepper
For the rest of the Subs:
1 can Tomato Sauce
1/2 cup Mozzarella Cheese, grated
4 Sub Buns
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 375 F. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place ground beef in large mixing bowl. Add in other ingredients in with meat, mix up with your hands or rubber spatula.
Form into small balls, about 1 cm or so. Repeat until none of the meat mixture remains.
Bake in oven until balls are cooked through, about 20 minutes or so.
While your meatballs are cooking heat up tomato sauce and grate your mozzarella cheese & toast the subs buns lightly. I usually do a layer of tomato sauce on the bottom, 5-6 meatballs, more sauce on top and then a good layer of mozzarella cheese.
Enjoy by itself of with a batch of Cindy's Cesear Salad.
