One Bowl Fudge Brownies

Writer's picture: Samantha DonaldsonSamantha Donaldson

The perfect gooey brownies that can be whipped up at a moment's notice for an impromptu dessert!

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 cup Butter or Margarine

2 1/2 cups White Sugar

1 1/2 cup Dutch Processed Cocoa Powder

1/2 tsp Salt

4 Eggs

2 tsp Vanilla Extract

1 cup White All Purpose Flour

INSTRUCTIONS

In a double boiler, heat butter until melted. While melting, stir in sugar, cocoa powder and salt. Stir mixture often until no lumps remain and dry ingredients have become incorporated.

Remove top bowl from heat. Allow to cool for a couple of minutes.

Stir in eggs one at a time, mixing each egg until completely incorporated.

Measure vanilla and add to brownie batter, stir.

Measure flour, add to chocolate batter. Stir to combine. I prefer to use a spatula to fold in the flour as it helps to scrape sides and is gentle on the batter.

Spray a 9x13 inch pan with cooking spray, pour brownie batter into prepared pan.

Use spatula to remove all of the batter and then level the batter into pan, creating a smooth surface.

Bake in a 325 f oven for 25-30 minutes, until brownies begins to pull away from the sides and an inserted tooth pick comes out mostly clean.

Allow to cool & then cut into desired pieces.

Enjoy
