An easy addition to any meal! Tender carrots and crisp snow peas swimming in butter and a dash of salt & pepper. I love this tasty side with a Roast Chicken and Mashed Potatoes or Maple Orange Chicken!
INGREDIENTS
2-3 large Carrots, cut in half and then cut on the diagonal
1 cup Water
1 small pkg. Snow Peas, ends cut
3-4 tbsp Butter
1/2 tsp Salt & Pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
In a medium frying pan add diagonally cut carrots and water to pan. Cooking on a medium heat for about 10-15 minutes until no water remains and carrots are fork tender. (If while cooking too much water cooks away before carrots are ready add more water!)
Once all the water has cooked away add in the butter, snow peas and salt & pepper, continue cooking on a medium heat for another 5 minutes or so until snow peas are tender. Then serve!
