An easy delicious way to enjoy pork ribs that are ready almost the moment you walk in the door from work!
INGREDIENTS
1 pack of Pork Ribs
2 small cans of Ginger Ale or 1 Big one (I just prefer the minis)
Salt & Pepper
Your choice of BBQ sauce
INSTRUCTIONS
In the morning before you leave for work or whatever your up to the day, remove ribs from package and sprinkle evenly with salt & pepper. Then place in slow cooker, curled about so that they wrap around each other & fit nicely in pot. Even if you have a smaller slow cooker to sides of ribs should be able to fit! Now pour in your cans (or can) or ginger ale, set to lowest cooking setting and continue cooking for 8 hour or so! There’s no need to move them or turn them over, they will be perfectly fine as is!
Once ribs have cooked for at least 8 hrs, preheat oven to 400F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using tongs carefully remove ribs from slow cooker pot and transfer to baking sheet. Select your favorite BBQ sauce and then using a silicon brush, brush BBQ all over ribs, remembering to flip them (carefully as they will be fall off the bone tender) and get that sauce all over! Bake for 20 minutes turning once at about the mid point. Then once the start getting crusty and smelling delicious, remove from oven and enjoy with a side of Coleslaw, Wedge Fries, Mac n Cheese, Mashed Potatoes, Calico Beans or whatever takes your fancy!
